idk, Damian didn't seem able to say much, or have much to say. Mr. Forger was actually able to prolong the interaction when Donovan was about to leave, while also giving Damian a boost.

I think for Damian, having a long conversation with his dad wasn't the goal but just to be able to talk to him. Getting any form of praise or encouragement to work hard from his dad is enough for him.

Ooh the eyes on Loid when he was finally able to meet Damian, I feel like this is the most serious we've seen up until now, which makes sense, he's meeting the target after so long for the first time.

I'm glad he felt bad about taking time away from Damian when he himself was having trouble spending time with his father. I like that Loid kind of gave him a push indirectly and I'm glad he will try to bring them closer as parent and child even if he's doing it because it'll benefit his own mission. Though even if it was on a whim, Desmond still came to see him so it's definitely not irreparable, but the way he looks at Damian is still concerning.

Thank goodness a second season has already been announced, I can't wait to see where the story continues from here on out.

Desmond seems to be an interesting character. Something tells me that he might not be the guy everyone thinks him to be. Luckily, we will find out more about this because season 2 and a movie have been confirmed.

For a season finale, this felt somewhat anticlimactic tbh. Thankfully though, there's already a movie and another season planned.

Yeah they didn't really end it with a "Banger", but well they at least made it to the meeting XD.

It wasn't action-packed, but spy shows aren't always action. The tense scenes when the spy is undercover are important too.

Anya can relate to anyone and win and this was funny.

Man, this last episode was really good. I'm honestly surprised because I didn't like this part of the season as much as the first. I kind of jumped off the hypetrain. Though I must say, it was still enjoyable, despite me not liking the new characters that much.
For example Yuri's siscon attitude was getting on my nerves, and I'm not even talking about Nightfall - her love for Loid and her 'I could do it better than you' attitude was really annoying. I even stopped liking Anya that much, I started to find her a bit annoying at times - I started to prefer Becky and Damian - I'm so glad for this last meeting of Damian and his father. But damn, Donovan is creepy as heck - he gives you chills, but the bad kind.

So yeah, despite some setbacks, I liked the 2nd half of the season.
The little plot 'arcs' are nice – I really liked the tennis one, I also liked drunk Yor, and Anya shopping with Becky. And this last episode might've been the best, honestly - we finally got to see Donovan and the plot started to get real interesting.

Speaking about the artistic impression I get from this anime – it’s really good. The animation is great, the music fits the story perfectly. The studios knew what they were doing. So yeah, even though I mightn’t’ve liked some things, it is a nice anime. So, I’ll give it – 8/10

Funny, I liked the second part just as much. Especially the parts when Anya was reading Nightfall's mind. I like Nightfall more than Yuri. And the tennis episodes were my least favorite. So almost the opposite of you haha.

Question tho, why doesn't Loid ever get suspicious of Yor's super-strength?

Also, when are we going to see Yor actually doing her assassin job again? We haven't really seen it since the beginning.

It was weird, but I just couldn't stop laughing at the idea of the underground tennis tournament. Complete with doping, rocket powered rackets, and rubber bullets.

And just like that we come to the end of season 1!!! I'll miss it but not much since there's movie and season. Can't believe I cried once again over Anya AND Damion, and dang his father...... No Yor for this one (just the end, but still basically no time).

and now we wait for Season 2 and Movie

Is there any info on what the movie will be covering? The mafia/cruise ship arc feels like a lot of material to cover in 2 hours, so I'm guessing something else, or even original material?
